When you have the opportunity to visit a winery, it is not just a way to drink some wine. Of course, wine is an essential component in understanding what those people are doing there, but a visit to a winery is, or can be, much more. When you visit a winery you discover the stories of the place, funny or dramatic events that happened over time in the vineyard, you know the people behind the bottle of wine you drink with friends, you discover the winemakers who live the wines they create and you understand that they fight their life is real and even if they sometimes manage to tame nature, often nature cannot be defeated. Wine is more than a drink precisely because of the stories behind it. When I thought of the desprevin.ro project, I thought of it precisely to put my shoulder to help the message of the wineries reach as many people as possible, but especially to give wine enthusiasts the opportunity to discover and experience the wineries as much as possible. To understand them and why not, to fall in love with their wines. What we do on desprevin.ro is a weekly excursion into a winery, presenting interviews, legends and knowledge about people, places and wine. You will be able to order the wine selections made by Marina, you will receive the tasting notes as if you are participating in a guided tasting, you will be able to join even online for a tasting together, you will be able to find out everything you would find in a visit at the winery but even more, you will be able to play because we also added a play component. In the wine packages, in addition to bottles and tasting sheets, we will add a game through which you will be able to earn points by answering questions about wine. Main and secondary flavours, acidity and many other features thus adding to the tasting experience and a social component, right from your home. Did we convince you to go to the winery with us? We are waiting for you on desprevin.ro, every week with a different visit, at another winery. - Alex & Marina

Discover an unusual place, called the Museum of Romanian Records® This place was born from the need to promote Bucharest and Romania, for and by its people. Here we offer you the opportunity to discover forgotten parts of human history which allow us to see the ingenuity of the human mind, through the different levels of its evolution and for the different aspects of life, from practical things, to pleasure and, of course, art. The Museum of Romanian Records houses several collections, among which we mention here the Corkscrew Collection. This is proof that people really tried to have fun. Since obtaining the record in 2015 the number has continued to grow and the collection now includes over 30,000 corkscrews. There are many things that can be learned from a simple visit to the collection. Here it can be found that the purpose of the corkscrew was not only to open wine bottles, but also perfume bottles, medicine bottles, small ink pens or even beer or mineral water bottles, when these too were sealed with a cork of cork. Important: between 23.12.2024 - 12.01.2025 the museum will be closed.

The Millésime wine culture and civilization association was founded in Oradea, in 2010, by Mr. Prof. Popa Dorin, who holds the position of president of the Association. The purpose of the Association is to educate consumers, promote the culture and civilization of wine and of course promote responsible consumption. The members of the Association meet at least twice a month to taste the latest wines and to find out the stories behind the oenological creations. Because we want our message and the wines of Romanian producers to be known to as many consumers as possible, the Millésime Association has decided to organize the Millésime Wine Show. A permanent goal of the Association, and now of the Millésime Wine Show, will be to create the necessary conditions to enjoy together quality wines and their diversity. The mission we assume for Romanian wine is to support and promote producers and quality wines, in order to have an informed and educated consumer who recognizes, values and pays for the quality of Romanian wines. The Millésime Wine Show is the first major event of this kind organized in Oradea and is intended to be the meeting point for wine lovers in the northwest of the country and beyond.

"The Winederers - Passionate Wine Wanderers" is a project started from the passion for wine and travel, simple things that bring us joy. We started to discover wine by traveling to the beautiful wine-growing areas of Europe, and this motivated us to learn as much as possible about wine, to participate and support tastings, to talk about wineries and the world of wine, but first of all to enjoy a bottle of fine wine with friends. We aim to get lost on the “wine paths” and to bring to the Romanian market wines that are worth discovering, from boutique wineries or lesser-known wineries, which we carefully select after tasting the wines and meeting the people behind them. Even when we can't travel, wine opens for all of us a world of emotional journeys to the area where it was made, where the specific soil and climate together with the work of the people in the vineyard and winery have polished it. Wine is also a sensory experience that brings us closer to the memories, states, tastes that we have experienced before and that suddenly return when we find them in a glass of good wine. We want to share with you the story of the wines we import through tastings or private events and we are always open to talk about or around a bottle of wine. For any questions, comments or requests, we are a click away at: office@thewinederers.com.

Wine and gastronomy festival in Iasi For us, "WINE TO CULTURE" (“VIN LA CULTURĂ”) has become a symbol of the efforts made to transmit this millennial tradition: the production of wine. These few objects, chosen to represent the culture of wine, we want to be used by you, those who cross the picturesque areas of the country: pen to describe the visited areas of a region the corkscrew to release the wine from the bottle that held him captive the glass to taste the fruit of a year of work in the winery that you will visit through your pilgrimages. All three can be used at home to taste a wine and send a description, impression, opinion. In all eight regions of Romania there are wineries waiting for you and we will present them here but we will do our best to bring them to your city, drawing the first connection between you and wine, but also between the community of your city and the toil behind wine bottle.

Iulian Grigorescu - the man, WineFisto - the character. Born in Braila in the month of harvest, I was introduced to wine in my family, a family with a 4-generation tradition in grape growing and wine production. Later, through a happy coincidence, I discovered exceptional wines from the beginnings of modern winemaking in Romania. I fell in love with wine so much that I started cultivating and educating my own tastes by attending a series of specialized schools and courses and eventually transforming my passion into a profession. I have traveled an interesting path combining passion with business, building an exclusive wine distribution for the hospitality industry, then building and running a restaurant with high standards where all the knowledge acquired during the courses I attended was put into practice, and now, accepting a new challenge: managing a liquor store. In parallel, I followed a series of courses and became an authorized taster, ADAR member, FIJEV member, WSET graduate, master's student at USAMV Bucharest in "Performing Technologies, Marketing and Wine Management", olive oil taster, sommelier and trainer; organizer of one of the largest wine competitions in Romania for 7 editions, organizer of the only wine fair in Braila, communicator, wine educator and juror in national and international wine competitions. After 10 years of studying, promoting and tasting wine with passion, I sign, along with 8 other wine bloggers and communicators, the bilingual guide "Winelovers' Guide into Romanian Romanian Treasures". A curious gourmet, I combine my passion for wine with that for food and organize oeno-gastronomic events. All this journey, all this work and accumulated experience, brought me here - the moment when personal "branding" naturally makes its appearance. Why “WineFisto”? I’ll let you philosophize. The “fight” cry and the personal signature: “Let’s kick some corks!!!” Services offered: 1. Private wine tastings; 2. Introduction courses in the art of wine tasting; 3. “Sommelier” training courses for amateurs and professionals; 4. Oeno-gastronomic events; 5. HoReCa consultancy

I launched Winesday online on April 20, 2020 (exactly 2 years after I held my first wine tasting) with the idea of making the wine known to an audience that is curious about wine, but has not dared to ask questions so far. Since then I have grown a beautiful community and, in addition to online materials, I organize public and private wine tastings and make visits with small groups to wineries.   Winesday is dedicated to those curious about wines, who have not dared to ask questions so far but who have always wanted to understand the language of wines and enjoy the aromas. If with Winesday I organize public and private wine tastings, I accompany groups to wineries and write about wine, with Winesday App I want to get even closer to you. You will find here in the app wineries, accommodation units in wine-growing areas / that have holiday programs that include wine, but also restaurants (which have generous wine lists), wine bars and wine shops in your area. This way it will be easier for you to discover places with wine from Romania, to taste and learn what you like. In addition, you will find tasting events organized by me or my partners, as well as winery tours and special offers of restaurants, wineries, wine bars and wine shops present in the application.

People. Wines. Elegance. Professionalism. Today's man moves fast. He is horrified by empty moments, especially if he left his phone at home, charging. We live fast and, in this fast-paced landscape, wine offers a break. It brightens our lives. That's why there is always room for a good glass of wine in pleasant company, a tastefully prepared meal or maybe just a simple story with friends. This is how a peace moment is born. Man relaxes and his soul opens to a new dimension. Then time seems to stop. So is the noise of the day. Because wine is wise. It tames time because it is born in time. And from the ground. Out of patience, out of sunshine and peace. Wine is born of people and, in gratitude, returns to them. His lesson is silent. The wine speaks only when poured into the glass. But speak in a whisper, only to those who have ears to hear. About that is WineUp Fair in Transylvania. April 5th - 7th 2024, Cluj
