BIO wines. Organic wines. Biodynamic wines. There is a whole movement around the world related to bio, organic, biodynamic wines. The subject has started to be more and more addressed in Romania as well. We have wineries that produce exclusively bio wines, others that produce both bio and biodynamic wines, and a good part of Romania's wineries are starting to certify part of their plantations as organic.

🍷 What is the difference between BIO and organic wines?
🍷 How about between BIO and Biodynamic wines?
🍷 When can we say that a winery produces BIO wines and what certification could it have to call them Bio?
🍷 What does obtaining an BIO certification entail, how is it obtained and how long does it take?

We invited 3 Romanian wineries to answer all these questions during a thematic wine tasting: Domeniul Bogdan (Dobrogea), Domeniile Franco Române (Muntenia) and Petro Vaselo Winery (Banat)

We are waiting for you on Wednesday, May 29th 2024, to talk about BIO and Biodynamic wines from Romania and, of course, to taste them.

Each winery will be present with 3 wines and you will have the opportunity to try bio wines from several corners of the country.
At the same time, you will be able to ask questions directly to the representatives of the wineries.

The tasting will be accompanied by a delicious food menu signed by Băcănia Veche Delicatese & Grădină.

Date: May 29 th 2024
Time: 18:30 – 21:30
Location: Băcănia Veche Delicatese & Grădină, Bd. Dacia no. 25, Sector 1, Bucharest (Piata Romană metro area).

Time schedule:
18:30 – 19:00 arrival of participants
19:00 – 21:00 tasting of BIO & Biodynamic wines accompanied by food
21:00 – 21:30 networking

Price: 300* lei/person
*those who have attended at least 4 Winesday Specials tastings get a bonus with every tasting starting from the fifth – this time they get a wine map

Important: Access to the event will be possible for those who purchased the tickets and received written confirmation by email.

Important:

The maximum number of participants is limited to 20 people.
The minimum number of participants to be able to carry out the tasting is 10 people.
Reservation of confirmed and paid seats cannot be canceled less than 7 calendar days before the date of the event. Thus, the amounts paid will not be returned if the withdrawal is made less than 7 calendar days before the event (in this case the penalty is 100% of the amount paid).
We reserve the right to make any necessary changes to ensure the safety of all participants as well as the conduct of the wine tasting in the best conditions.

The event is exclusively for people over 18 years old.
